Held at Southport Flat Green Bowling Club in the Kings Gardens on the weekend of 24th & 25th May.

The Southport Open was played this weekend in the most awful gales, despite this some very close games ensued.

The Final:- Bob Wood & Graham Booth v Kitty Mulholland & Margaret Fraser.
Bob and Graham and Graham quickly went ahead with some excellent bowls played by both sides, it must be said the overall winner today was the very strong wind it really did control the games, with Bob and Graham coping very well throughout. Congratulations to them both.
